My video about Science AA and Grade 6 Field Trip. Please watch.;D

Science AA - Structure of the Earth.

Hi guys ! It's been a long time since I did not write any posts.  I have made a 3/4 model of the Earth. It's a bit hard to make because it needs a huge amount of clay. This is how to make it : First I make a large ball using my yellow clay as the base. Then cut 1/4 of the ball. Cover it with the colors of the real structure of the Earth. Lastly, I label the parts with toothpicks. Now I am just nervous about my score.

SCIENCE AA - SAVE THE EARTH POSTER MAKING

HI GUYS! I'M BACK AT WRITING THIS BLOG AGAIN ! LAST WEEK WAS A VERY BUSY WEEK. WE WERE MAKING THE SCIENCE AA IN GROUPS OF 3. MY GROUP IS WITH ROBBY AND VICKY. WE MADE A POSTER ABOUT HOW TO SAVE THE EARTH.WHILE WE DO THE POSTER WE ALSO CHECK SOME INFOS ABOUT WAYS TO SAVE OUR EARTH. BUT I DON'T REALLY LIKE HAVING ROBBY AS A GROUP LEADER BECAUSE IT'S ONLY ME AND VICKY WHO DO THE MOST JOBS WHILE HE JUST DO A LITTLE  PART OF THE POSTER (SORRY TO ROBBY WHO IS MAYBE READING THIS, BUT ITS THE TRUTH!).ANYWAY, IT TURNED OUT THAT OUR POSTER GOT A GOOD SCORE SO I WAS PRETTY HAPPY ABOUT IT.

Non Reversible & Reversible Changes Experiment

LAST TIME, MY CLASS, 6G, EXPERIMENTED ON MATERIALS. WE WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT REVERSIBLE AND NON REVERSIBLE CHANGES IN MATERIALS. WE EXPERIMENTED ON SUGAR, BUTTER, CANDLE(WAX), BAKING SODA, VINEGAR, WATER AND SALT. WE WORKED IN GROUPS. MY GROUP IS WITH VICTOR, FARREN AND ROBBY(HE'S ABSENT AT THAT TIME). NOW I KNOW IF BUTTER, SUGAR AND CANDLE IS HEATED IT WILL MELT. BUT IT IS A REVERSIBLE CHANGE. WE ALSO MIXED BAKING SODA WITH VINEGAR AND WATER AND SALT. WE LEARNED THAT THESE CHANGES ARE NON REVERSIBLE. LASTLY, WE FILLED IN OUR SCIENCE ACTIVITY BOOKS. IT WAS ALL VERY FUN. MY ACTIVITY BOOK GOT 2 MISTAKES. THAT'S ALL! BYE!

Field Trip to Beth Shalom Organic Farm

An example of monocotyledon.
Actually, field trip is not an ordinary field trip, it is for the Science Alternative Assesment. In there, we learn about monocots and dicots plants. We were also explained about the examples of dicots and monocots plants. We also observe many wonderful plants. I took many interesting pictures. I also see many wonderful plants there. We also learn about asexual reproduction in plants and how to demonstrate it. We learn how to graft and cut plants. When we go home we were given plants to be brought to school for our Alternative Assesment. For more information, go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monocotyledons and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monocotyledons

Making electric circuits

Hi guys! For Science we are grouped into groups of 4. We should make parallel and series circuit. In series circuit, when one bulb is blown the other bulb will also not light up. But, in parallel circuit if one bulb is blown the other bulbs will still turn on. Anyway in the making the electric circuits we need many alligator clips, some wires, batteries, some bulbs and fittings. It took a long time to finish both of them. But we managed to finish it both. Now, we are just nervous about our score. Bye!

Unit 19 - Gravitational and Frictional force

Gravitational force: Gravitational force is a force that can act from a distance from an object. It is the force of attraction between things and the Earth. Gravitational force pull things downwards to the center of the Earth. Its strength is not the same everywhere. The farther the object from the center of the Earth the weaker the gravitational force. Gravitational force acting on us and all other objects all time. That way we will not float away to space.

Frictional force: Frictional force is a force that opposes motion. It is produced when two surface rub against each other. Frictional force can slow down objects, prevent an object to move and affect the movement of an object.

Air resistance: Air resistance occurs when we drop an object and te frictional force slows the speed of the fall. Example of objects using air resistance is a parachute.

We also make a parachute for our portfolio. But my parachute failed.
